Safeguarding, Welfare & Pastoral Support Officer (SWPSO)

Hello, my name is Carla Newby, as a Safeguarding, Welfare & Pastoral Support Officer (SWPSO), my role in school is to support parents, children and families, whenever required. I can offer help, advice and support for family and domestic issues, school issues, medical concerns you may have and support in child behaviours, confidence building and self esteem.
 

If you need support in attending school related appointments, such as CAMHS, in school or medical appointments where the issues with a child affects their normal school day, then please come and see me, and where I can I will be more than happy to assist you.

I can support with other appointments through negotiation, so whether you are a new parent or a parent who has been with us for years and you need help, support or advice, then please feel free to come and have a cuppa and a chat as I am here for you!
