    Safeguarding, Welfare & Pastoral Support Officer (SWPSO)

    Hello, my name is Carla Newby, and as Safeguarding, Welfare & Pastoral Support Officer (SWPSO). My role in school is to support parents, children and families, whenever required. I can offer help, advice and support for family and domestic issues, school issues, medical concerns you may have and support with child behaviour, confidence building and self-esteem.

    If you need support in attending school-related appointments, such as CAMHS, in school or medical appointments where the issues with a child affect their normal school day, then please come and see me, and where I can, I will be more than happy to assist you.

    I can support with other appointments through negotiation, so whether you are a new parent or a parent who has been with us for years, and you need help, support or advice, then please feel free to come and have a cuppa and a chat as I am here for you!
